Is there a setting to stop search tab from resetting?

Since I updated to Logos 10, my search tab behaves unexpectedly in several ways. One of them goes like this:

  • Run a search
  • Start clicking search results and reading them in various other tabs
  • Go back to the search
  • It has returned to the default, empty search page
  • Run the search again
  • Repeat

Is this a feature? If so, does someone know where I can turn it off? I want search results to stay exactly as they were until I ether close the tab or key in new keywords and launch a new search.

Edit to add: sometimes rather than going back to the default empty search, there's just a different search there. Just now, I clicked my search tab and it has lemma.g:=πᾶς in the search field and a list of hits. I have no idea how that happened. My guess is that clicking somewhere is triggering a search without my knowing it.
In any case, I'm interested in how to disable that.

I believe this is on beta and may not be on a production version yet. For example, if I open the search panel and select `morph` and do my search query and close that search tab when I'm done. Say a few hours later I open Logos back up and open a new search panel. It would recall my last option used and therefore bring up the search panel with the `morph` option chosen already.

If you are doing the follow steps I did and not getting similar results, its not on production yet but will make its way there soon. You can access it early if you want by downloading our beta versions, but there are risk. More details on beta versions here

I've never experienced this  in Logos 9 or Logos 10 (currently running the beta).

Do you click multiple results in the Search tab and then read the resource tabs it has opened?

Is the Search tab always visible after you click a result?

A screenshot (or video) of your layout would help, showing your Search tab and some resource tabs it has opened.

I should have a chance to make a video sometime in the next few days. The tab is usually not visible because currently I'm using a small screen and a single column layout. So when I click items on the search result list they open in another tab. If I click back on the search tab right away all the results are still there, but if I go to it a little while later it has changed.

So I'm assuming that something I'm doing when I'm scrolling or reading in other tabs is affecting it somehow. But it really shouldn't do that. I never had this problem in Logos 9.

OK, here's a video clip. In the clip, the search tab changes several times. It may not be clear what I'm clicking on between 'resets,' but maybe clear enough for some clues.  In general, I'm struggling with Logos 10 because it seems like clicking does unexpected things all the time. Maybe I need to reset everything to defaults and start fresh.

I don't know how to upload a video. Maybe a link works?

    Edit...

I think I figured it out. I had the search tab set to link set A, and several of the Bible tabs are A also. The result is that clicking on any text in a linked Bible, changes the search results to that word just clicked. Due to other settings, probably, that usually goes to a Hebrew or Greek lemma, apparently.

So I think we can mark this one solved. Now that I know how that works, I kind of like that, but in a separate search tab in addition to the one I'm working from. So I'll probably work with an unlinked search tab and also a linked one in the future.
