I'm looking to upgrade my Desktop PC. Does anyone have a recommendation as to what computer I should get that would sufficiently run Logos 10? I'm interested in brand and model recommendations. Thanks! Jim
So you want us to do your research? The minimum recommended is given at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007554992-Recomme and you can always specify your own from a base model that is offered by some manufacturers.
I would update the recommended as follows:
MacBook Pro
14 inch Screen or the 16 inch screen
16 GB or 32 GB Memory
1 TB SSD
No less than 16GB memory.
Great machine!
If you are happy with your existing monitor, keyboard and mouse then the MacMini is worth a look.
I am running one and it is great with two monitors and an iPhone4 repurposed as a web cam.

Just to clarify Dave's point about the latest processor, in the Windows/PC world, while the 13th generation Intel processors are starting to become available, the 12th generation of Intel processors are the ones that will be most plentiful. I believe the newest AMD processors are the 7000 series. The 6000 series may be more available.
Personally, I left the desktop pc behind and now only use a laptop. Laptops have come a long ways. I don't feel I sacrificed anything.... but then I am not a gamer as such. I do write programs and run several things at once.... but laptop works for me.
And then I have the best of both worlds.... I hook it up to a power bar which has my monitors on it and extra ssd drives...... And when I travel... I unplug and have everything with me.
IMHO.... [8-|]
