I don't know the answer to your question but what I have I give you...
It is a good idea to change your user name so that your email address does not appear in the forums.
Leaving it as it is is an open invitation for those who collect addresses off the web and then try and sell you all sorts of questionable items and services.
Most of which, with an email address like yours, I assume you would not wish to avail yourself of.
