Missing popup for options in Syntax Search menus

On Windows, if I hover my cursor over an option in a Syntax Search menu I get a popup with a brief description of what it means.

I don't get a popup when doing the same on Mac - is this a known / expected limitation?

  Thanks for the report. I've created a case to add the tooltip to Mac.
