Suggestion: Clicking link creates tab in window with link

Please Vote/Comment => Clicking link creates tab in window with link

If more than one window is open in desktop app, then clicking a link (in a Guide, Search Result, ...) creates a new tab in a randomly chosen window, but not in the window where link was clicked. Would appreciate a setting for link tab creation destination: same OR different window

Is there a reason that drag-and-drop the link to where you want it to open is not satisfactory?

Window arrangement has provided a number of drag-and-drop annoyances: need to drag window(s) to facilitate drag & drop of link/tab to desired window.

I'm not sure I understand you. You are talking only about multiple windows? With multiple monitors that shouldn't create a problem, so are you talking only about floating windows on a single monitor?

I can't get anything resembling random behavior - I get putting like with like. Can you provide a concrete example through screenshots?
