BUG: Can't drag Word documents directly to Favorites
I cannot drag a Word document directly to Favorites to add it to my Favorites. It gives a plus sign like it's about to add the document but then nothing happens. PDFs don't work either (I didn't try any more document types).
The workaround is to drag the Word document to the Shortcuts bar and then drag it from the Shortcuts bar to Favorites. However, the Logos Help file says:
[quote]External links, such as documents and program shortcuts, can also be dragged to the Favorites panel.
So it would seem I'm supposed to be able to drag documents directly to Favorites.
Is anyone else having this problem in Logos 10? I know I've added Excel documents to Favorites in past so this seems like something Logos 10-related.

Is this windows or mac? (I don't believe it has ever worked on Mac... but I could be wrong. I only know the last time I tried it didnt work).
Windows. Somehow I got a link to an excel document in my Favorites in the past, and a bunch of pdf documents. I know I didn't drag them all to the Shortcut bar first to get them there. The help document says you can do it and it doesn't say that you can't do it on a Mac. So has it just been a long-standing bug?

Dragging does not work in Windows 11 (Verbum 10) whilst it does work in Logos 9 (and it sync's to Verbum 10). And I don't see a fix for it in 10.1 beta 1 (Logos Desktop Beta forum).

I have the same problem with file folders. I could drag-and-drop file folders into both favorites and shortcuts in L9, but in L 10 I have to do the same thing Kiyah described for DOCX and PDF files.

This happens on Mac/Verbum too.

In addition to not being able to drag document links to Favorites, links which I have added to Favorites in previous Logos versions now do not work.

Any updates on this bug?
Each time we get a new Logos update I hope for a fix!

Hello All,
It appears that we are still unable to drag our notes (from Logos) over to Favorites, correct?
When I study a subject I make a subfolder for my notes on that subject in Favorites and I'm no longer able to do that.
Anyone else experiencing that issue?
Blessings!

Can drag Notebooks but not individual notes. Why don;t you collate your subject notes in a Notebook?

I'm using v24 Beta, so it should work for you when v24 is released.
