NASB 2020 SET UP
Hi, I noticed that the NASB 1995 and the LSB have different setups than the 2020 update. The 2020 edition has the paragraph set up only. Would it be possible to add the same format that the NASB 1995 and the LSB have? Could you add it to the queue?
I hope I'm not asking for too much.

Yes, I'm very much aware of that, but the paragraph format of the NASB 2020 is different from the format of the LSB and the NAS95.
I found out that Logos also released a paragraph version of NASB 95 (NASB 95P). Moreover, Logos will be releasing another paragraph version (edition?) of the LSB soon. Being that the case, why can't they release a non-paragraph edition of the NASB 2020?
I hope you understand the point I'm trying to make.

Not knowing the contract they have on the NASB2020, I don't have an answer. But why would I want them to take on two separate resources when the by verse option exists? I am likely missing the point because I hate the modern artificial verses and use them as I use line numbers on a legal document.

Why then do we have two resources for the NASB 1995, and for the LSB (I understand the second resource is in the works), but not for the NASB 2020?
I like the format of NASB 95 and the LSB rather than the paragraph format for the NASB 2020.
If necessary, I will send an e-mail to the Lockman Foundation.

To me, if one has a verse-by-verse edition it makes sense to add a paragraph edition - there is no simple way to make verse-by-verse into paragraphs. One the other hand, if one has a paragraph edition, it is simple to convert it to a verse-by-verse edition unless it is a paraphrase. Therefore, I see no reason to take on the overhead of a separate version for no functional gain.

What I write to the Lockman Foundation, will that be an option?

Since I don't know the details of the contract between FaithLife and Lockman Foundation, I don't know that writing Lockman will have any effect.

Why then do we have two resources for the NASB 1995
Because Faithlife FIRST released NASU (NAS95) in the format it was published by Lockman and many users had highlights and notes attached to studies in that version. THEN Faithlife released the NASUPARA version to be consistent with their single verse option in visual filters. Since the NASU95 already had been used for several years before NASUPARA was released, we have the unique (2 resources). The NAS20 was never released in the NAS95 arrangement so users cannot claim they have notes in a resource they already possessed and Faithlife can be more consistent in updates with only 1 NAS20 resource.
EDIT: This was discussed HEAVILY in the Forums in 2017 - https://community.logos.com/search/SearchResults.aspx?q=NASB95+format&o=Relevance

Another simple solution is.... to not buy the version you don't like...[8-|]
xn = Christan man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".
