R.I. P. Morris Proctor

My heart aches with this news. Much of what have learned to do with Logos I owe to Morris. His infectious smile and wide eyed wonder at all the Bible has to offer moved me closer to God.

This is sad. I am so grateful for what Morris has given to us. His teaching has transformed my use of Logos. Rest in peace, dear brother.

The SNBC13 site is pretty suspect and the wording sounds like it is AI-generated.
However, the news can be confirmed on Morris's Facebook page and Robert J. Morgan's as well.

Wow this is a shocker! R.I.P. Hopefully the company will survive with him not being there 😕

Thank you for posting this. I had subscribed to his seminars the day I bought Logos. I would have been lost without his tutorials. He was a gifted and passionate teacher and so likable. What a surprise.
May the Lord comfort his family and all those who feel his passing the most.

God bless all the survivors and those mourning. I have not yet gotten to the paid trainings, but what I had seen of his work was very edifying. Thankful he is home with Jesus.
Praying for all those colleagues at Logos as well. Mike Heiser has posted on FB that he expects to transition, as well. Keep him and his family in prayer.
What an amazing gift God has given the body of Christ in these teachers. I've only scratched the surface of their work. I am so grateful.0 -
I join the community of believers who mourn the passing of a friend and teacher. My grasp of the power of Logos began with Morris Proctor's instruction. I will be forever grateful for his tutelage. He will be missed.
Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

This is a tough one. I had a couple of meaningful interactions at one of his Camp Logos seminars several years ago. His love for Jesus and commitment to scripture was obvious.
Been a subscriber to his site for a few years now. Somehow, even when teaching the software, he managed to be encouraging and focused on God's Word.
He will be missed.

That's so sad and so sudden. I went to a MP seminar in the Seattle area in 2010. His skillful explanations of Logos will be missed.

Be cautios about this site. When I went there, I got multiple popup windows, and s blaring/repeating audio warning that my computer had been compromised, and that if I did anything other than follow the instructions provided, my computer would never work again.Jerry Bush said:The SNBC13 site is pretty suspect and the wording sounds like it is AI-generated.

Prayers for the family and friends of Morris Proctor.
I attended his seminars on two occasions, and they were both very helpful to me. I even got his seminar approved as my Continuing Education credits required of United Methodist ministers. I will always be thankful for his ministry of teaching Logos Bible Software.

Morris was an outstanding teacher and a wonderful person. I am thankful he is united with his wife and his Lord.

Lord have mercy. What a great loss. I had the privilege of meeting Morris Proctor at a Camp Logos a few years back in Louisville. Even though I worked for a competitor back then, he treated me like a colleague and was warm and very cordial to me. He will be greatly missed.

Very sad news for his family and friends. Will be missed by Logos users worldwide.

Very sad news, and quite shocking.
Morris was an excellent teacher and a fine Christian, who loved to help preachers and lay people use Logos to better understand the Bible. And he clearly loved doing what he was doing.
The Logos user community will be poorer now that he is gone. Other can teach, but he had a special enthusiasm for the software and learning through it that will be hard to match.

Thank you for your life of service, Morris! You were a teacher of teachers and one who ministered to ministers. I admired you and will greatly miss your enthusiasm!

After using Logos for more than 20 years, I subscribed to his training and gained valuable insight on the first video.

My heart is so sad as I have been trying to process this news. Praying for his family.
This type of shocking news is a sobering reminder of the brevity and fragility of life. May we all live each day to the full with the realization that life is short but the hope of a eternity with the Lord is certain.

What a loss, both to his family and to the Logos family. My condolences to you all. I rejoice for him, though, as he and his wife are reunited with our Lord.

It is a painful and sad lost! We grieve with his family and friends but also anticipate his resurrection at Jesus' soon return.
