BUG: Opened Note Does Not Display Contents
In iPadOS 22.0.1
I would think fixing this should be a priority, even though it’s relatively minor, since it impacts a frequent task (opening a note).
- Close all existing note tabs (if there is an existing note tab the note opens in it and displays correctly)
- Go to a Bible that contains a note. Click on the note icon, then click Open to open the note in a new window.
- The note tab opens but neither the anchor text nor the note text displays.
- Swipe to switch tabs back and forth. The anchor text and note text should display.

My experience is that these steps only open a Notes panel. When I tap the Note icon again, the text displays.
I agree that this is an irritating behavior.
Aside to Logos architect: Is there a reason for requiring two steps instead of one?

I've made a case for the team to investigate. Thanks, Robert.

Today this was accompanied with data loss. When I opened the note, it had about a paragraph of text. In the course of trying to trigger it to display, I clicked in the "empty" note and that must have overwritten the text that was there (but not displayed) with nothingness.
