I thought Logos was slow, but I didn't know it was this serious.(Microsoft Surface Pro 8, i7, 16
Once the problem is visible,
Even though I'm plugged in and using it at maximum performance, the memo is too slow.
I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 8 this time.
Other laptop specs are i7-8700 (Desktop CPU), 32GB, 4.5TB SSD, Surface purchased is i7-1185G7, 16GB, 512GB SSD.
Other laptops are always plugged in and used, so I didn't feel slow. However, I was very shocked when I tried to use Logos with Surface today.
I'm a Korean. Korean has a more serious problem. As you type, a sentence appears a few seconds later. In addition, when you remove the power and use only the battery, the logos even goes down while typing.
You cannot enter any more notes until the characters you type are saved in real time, and the number of characters queued continues to accumulate.
So, I suggest the following.
1. Allow me to specify the time saved as typing as an option. For example, after typing stops, after 1 second, after 2 seconds, after 5 seconds, after 10 seconds, etc., wait as long as the value set as an option, and then save it automatically.
2. If you try to exit with unsaved characters remaining, 'There are unsaved characters. Are you sure you want to quit?' I think it would be better to handle it with 'finish or wait'.

That sounds very frustrating! Your Surface should be able to run Logos 10 with no problem. Two questions:
1.) Does your Surface work as expected when plugged in?
2.) Are you currently indexing?Using Logos as a pastor, seminary professor, and Tyndale author

Hi,
There is a known issue with 11th gen Intel Iris graphics. Your symptons sound similar to others who have experienced this.
https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052821231-Display-problems-on-11th-gen-Intel-processors-with-Iris-Xe has more details, although I think the linked driver there is a bit out of date. There is probably a more recent one, maybe try the auto update tools from Intel (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html). - Edit: If you do follow the link to Intel from the Logos Support page, there is a yellow bar on the Intel page that displays linking to the latest version of the driver.
You can also disable hardware aceleration from the very bottom of the Logos settings menu, although somethings may not work such as watch video until you re-enable it.

1. Except for the memo function, it runs quite satisfactorily. Even when the power adapter is connected.
2. Indexing was finished.

This is not exactly related to your issue but I am on my second surface product over the last few years and I find they performance drop when not plugged in unbelievable. Even my current surfacebook is terrible when running on battery.
