Free books?????

In a recent thread several folks mentioned a thousand free books that can be used in Logos 4. I checked out a similar thread that referred to free books that can be downloaded like the ESV support stuff. I own, Laridian, NIV and several other Bible software packages and experience has taught me that if it isn't in Logos, I rarely look at it. Laridian is different since I do use that on my palm.

Still, I'm greedy enough that I want ALL the free stuff available in Logos. Is there an easy way to find and download it?

I have downloaded and attempted to install the free ESV stuff 3-4 times now. Each time, the install comes up with an error and stops.

Has anyone got this to work? I don't even know what the resources are or if they are worth it.

To download the free Crossway package, you must go to this link http://www.gnpcb.org/freecd/, and install through Windows L3. Remember, this download is meant for people who have a qualifying ESV print Bible. See http://www.crossway.org/catalog/bibles for the Bibles that come with the software offer. Keep in mind, you do not need a code to download, just your word that you actually own a qualifying Bible.

Oh, do you know the origin of the work Wiki? It has become common and I think it means a cache of resources, but I have no idea where it started.

Yes, it comes from Wikipedia. The explanation I have seen is Hawaiian cab drivers leaving the airport "wiki wiki" (pidgin). From the Wikipedia:

"The word Wikipedia ( /ˌwɪkɪˈpiːdi.ə/ or /ˌwɪkiˈpiːdi.ə/ WIK-i-PEE-dee-ə)
is a portmanteau from wiki (a
