CRASH When running Morph Search on Hebrew Stems in Analysis View
I experienced a crash running a search in the Morph tab in the Analysis view. I was searching for particular verb stems for the lemma:יצר and wasn’t finding them so I just searched for all the stems for the verb with the Analysis view to see all of the stems available for that verb. When I tried to switch back to the search that was stem specific (through search history) in the Morph tab while still in Analysis view, the application crashed.

EDIT: I'm running RC-1 (22.0.21) on Windows 10.

It just crashed again when going in the other direction, when searching a lemma with specific morphology and subsequently just running the lemma by itself in the Analysis view. I wasn't trying to recreate the crash again, it just crashed when I tried to use the Morph tab in the Analysis view again.

Sorry for the delay here. I wanted to check back in and see if you are still crashing with the Morph search panel? If so, can you provide a screenshot by chance, as i want to make sure my repro on the latest version is correct, but if no crash on your end, let us know as well.

I just crashed with the same lemma, but not immediately upon entering analysis view
It crashed after altering the term to lemma.h:יצר@Va and pressing Enter.

You are correct, it doesn't crash immediately. It crashes when you run a morph search in analysis view and then subsequently make a change to your selections in the morph picker (or even if you use search history drop down to run a previous search).
I just made it crash again (not sure if these are the exact search perameters of my original crash, but I just remember changing the stem selection). I ran a search on this verb with the Qal stem (lemma.h:יצר@Va).

Then I added the Hifil stem and hit enter and it crashed (lemma.h:יצר@V[ac]).

Planning on looking today and I'll report back.
I'm on version: 23.0.17 (beta 2) and using a Windows VM0 -
Just ran a few test on my end and wasn't crashing, but curious if we are even on the same version now? Currently on 23.0.17
Ran that query and then altered the input to something similar to this -->
After just did some random inputs from lemma.h:יצ and adding new selections from the drop down after inserting @ keyword. Wasn't able to crash though.

Initially, when I posted I was running v22 RC-1 (22.0.21). When I posted the additional screenshots you asked for I was running the current stable version 22.0.23.
Looking at Dave's logs it looks like he was running v23 Beta 1 when he posted his logs.

I just noticed that Dave's view is grouped by Lemma, mine is grouped by Stem. Your view doesn't appear to be grouped at all. Maybe try grouping by stem and trying again.

Also, you picked a different grammatical choice. Try just running the lemma, grouping by stem, and then try specifying a stem.

Okay. I tried to run the query without any groupings to see if the groupings are the problem. I think they might be. Here's how I made it crash:
1. I ran a morph search in analysis view on the lemma: lemma:יצר (No crash)
2. I was already grouped by stem, so I removed the stem grouping and re-ran the search ungrouped. (No crash)
3. I added the Qal stem: lemma:יצר@Va (No crash)
4. I added the Hifil stem: lemma:יצר@V[ac] (No crash)
5. I then tried to group those results by stem (CRASH)
Here are my updated logs:

Ah thanks for the steps. I was misunderstanding the grouping piece. I also chatted with some team members and looks like we already have a case for this issue. I'll post back once this has been fixed on our end.

After the restart, Verbum crashed when
- I re-ran the lemma query and switched to Analysis view
- typing after the lemma term to find it inserted in the wrong place i.e. lemma.h:@יצר
- re-pasting the lemma term, and
- typing space followed by @
There was no crash log. Event Viewer says it is an "Application Error" vs. an "Application Hang" for the earlier freeze. No useful info otherwise.

I can take a look on the regression to add some notes to our current case, but just to clarify, beta 3 didn't have the fix so the crash here is still present.

Appears to be fixed in Beta 4. I tried some awkward variants and it did not crash.
