How to search special characters in notes?
Before converting from BibleWorks to Logos two years ago, I used ## to tag verses with subject labels. I was able to import my notes into Logos, and I am trying to manually change my ## tags to Logos tags, but the search function in Logos notes does not find the # characters. I've tried searching ## and "##" but without success.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

Just because I thought it, not because I have tried it...
Have you tried searching for the Unicode for #? I believe it is 0023?

That is unfortunate as Find in resources will accept such characters. The regular Search tool just ignores them.
Is it possible to search for the actual subject labels i.e. are they sufficiently unique as words or phrases?

(The preview of the following text shows only one paragraph. I hope the paragraphs are separated.)
Dave, my labels are pretty general. I have about 375 of them. I kept an index of tagged verses. Some labels are easy to find: ASIDE: CLARIFICATION- ASIDE: CLARIFICATION OF STATEMENTS
- ASIDE: CUSTOMS ASIDE: EXPLANATION
- ASIDE: EXTENDED COMMENTARY
- ASIDE: FAILURE TO UNDERSTAND
Others are much more general:- BOASTING
- BOOKS
- BRIBE
- CALL
- CALVINISM
- CANNIBALISM
- CHARACTER
- CHILDREN (See also WOMB)
- CHRIST (See TITLES OF JESUS)
- CHRISTOPHANY
- CHRONOLOGY
- CLARITY OF SCRIPTURE
I preceded all my BibleWorks tags with ##. That enabled me to find all the verses that I had marked pertaining to a particular subject. I would like to see a more direct way of doing that so that a search on CALL, for example, would simply list all the verses so tagged.
I have found that I can search my topics and select several notes at a time and then tag them together. That does same some time.
I couldn't figure out how to insert ## using the Unicode system, but when I lived in the DOS/Windows world, the ASCII codes simply produced the characters with no difference from typing them in directly. Thanks anyway to Mike for the idea.0 -

Good

If you use the tag box (Add tags..) then you can use mytag:CALL in the Search tool > Docs > Notes (if you have v22.0 software). In Logos 9, that would be Search > Basic > Your Documents.
