Need help searching so that curly brackets are interpreted as literal characters

Hello. I am trying to run a search in the UBS5's apparatus to determine the number of times {A}, {B}, {C}, and {D} are each used by the editors to indicate their level of certainty about textual variants. Below is a screenshot of the results I am getting. So far I have searched the forums and the search help page on the wiki, but have not yet found what I need to enter into the search bar for the curly brackets to be interpreted as literal characters. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Not answering your curly question, but I do all my visual filter searches during the uniqueness of the popup text. Avoids search syntax confusion, now and potential future updates.

Unfortunately punctuation marks and other special characters are not indexed, so you can't use Search to find them. The best you can do is use the Find feature within a book, but then you'd have to manually count all the occurrences as you scrolled through them.

Thank you both for your responses! You confirmed what I had suspected, but I just wanted to be sure. Rosie, I had actually played around with using the Find feature (Control + F) from within the book. That worked well for quickly counting occurrences of {D}, but will take much longer for {A}, {B}, and {C}. It looks like I need to decide whether to just take the time to do that or try exporting the whole apparatus either to Word or another program that can search for curly brackets.

I apparently did not grasp what you had meant in your first post about the pop-up text, but seeing the screenshot you attached made the light bulb come on instantly. By the time I saw it, I had already exported the whole apparatus to Word to run my searches there. I came up with {A} 505, {B} 533, {C} 366, and {D} 7. After seeing your screenshot I ran the searches again in Logos using your method. I got the same results except for {C} 367. It was only off by one, and I will chalk that up to an error with exporting. You made my night and taught me something new, so THANK YOU!!
