- Resolved a bug that caused Cloud Resources to appear when searching user defined collections.
I'm disappointed to see that this unintended feature was easily dismissed as a bug and discarded. I hope it will be reconsidered.
If anyone would like to vote to reinstate this as an optional feature please vote here https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/collection-search-add-cloud-books-as-option
For a discussion about it while in beta see here https://community.logos.com/forums/p/213875/1247011.aspx#1247011
Too soon old. Too late smart.

We aren't yet ready to enable cloud resources in user defined collections. There are a number of pieces that need to be put in place for this to work as desired. It's something we want to do, we just weren't intending to turn it on yet in search.

I'm glad they're holding it for now and hopefully considering a way to implement it more holistically in a way that gives us more precision of control rather than just pushing it out of the door piecemeal. Hopefully they're considering all of the feedback given on the above-mentioned thread.

Thanks for the report. We had the wrong information tagged on the release notes. I think if you restart your application, the link should now go to the right location. Please let me know if you find that this is not the case.

Hi. It reports "Setup was unable to download a required file" when I run the new setup program from your download link. Update Now didn't work within the program (currently v9.17).

See this page: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008056632-Problem-Installing-Landing-Page
It notes that the problem is likely a firewall or security program.

Quick question - I've always been able to download from the install page. I'm trying to download currently the latest installer and the link is not available on my Linux laptop, as it is on my Windows laptop. Same browser, same browser setup - is the site now setup to recognize the OS and block the download?

Am I the only one totally confused?
I was using Logos 9. I saw all the announcements for the free update to version 10. After updates automatically installed, I discover I'm on, not version 10, but version 23.1.33!
What happened to versions 10, 11, 12, 13...?

I've been wondering the same ![:|]

Logos Wiki => Logos Release History shows stable release jump from 10.2 to 22 with forum thread link in between:
IMPORTANT – New version numbers for Logos/Verbum software
Agree "latest version" wording on https://www.logos.com/free-edition lacks a bit for describing software version 9.17.#### jump to 23.1.33
Logos 10 was retained for describing base packages.

Mac or Windows.
The Library, for one opens to the side and is hidden
Does it happen only when on the Home Page?

No, all the time. Also, the books don't seem to open immediately on clicking anymore. Most of the time, it just brings it up on the information section rather than open the book.
This is just weird.

Mac or Windows?
Have you tried a computer restart?
Does it happen if the App Toolbar is at the Top (the second option in Tools > Program Settings).

Hi Leo,
This behavior has been reported internally. Can you try reducing the size of the pop-out window in its current state by dragging the lower left corner of the library window up and to the left? Reducing the size should make it re-wrap to the correct location on the screen. I've been able to replicate both the behavior and work around.
Until this is resolved I would be mindful for how close the far right edge of the Library gets to the far right edge of the display.

It's a Mac.
I didn't know about the option to have the toolbar back on top - which i find more convenient! and that opens it properly, so thank you!
Bless.

I could try reducing the window size once it's been popped open as a floating window, but it wouldn't allow me to do that when it opened on the side - maybe i wasn't doing it right. But never mind. I'm happy with the toolbar on top and it opening properly.
Thanks.
