Previously when Faithlife released major versions of the software it was necessary to purchase the new engine - even if this was a zero cost option.
They have changed their approach and now everyone running Logos 9 will automatically receive the latest version - version 23.0 (they've changed the numbering convention as well) - and so will be updated.
There is an article at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023029051-Get-started-with-the-free-Logos-app talking about some of the new user interface aspects and features

This article is great Graham. My questions are will I get the print library feature?

My questions are will I get the print library feature?
No - that requires the full feature upgrade and so will not be available in the free version.

So what actually comes within the free version?

So what actually comes within the free version?
This is described at https://www.logos.com/free-edition - toward the bottom of that page is a table showing what is included

So how do you change the layout. I prefer the menu across the top of the page rather than down the left hand side. I cannot see any information on this. Also is there a way to filter the advertising. I was not receiving it with L9.
Thanks in advance

Go to Program Settings - second item is the application toolbar solution.
Controlling what is on the Homepage is still controlled from the gear on the upper right of the Explore section of the Homepage.

Thank you, MJ. I certainly have better screen width.
