Can the Library Icon open to full screen?

The "library" icon always opens up a small popup window.  Is there a way for it to open up in full screen?  I know that I can get the full screen with a right click or from the popup window, but is there a way for it to default to full screen?  Right now, I have an additional library icon on my tools bar that does this.  It seems redundant to have 2 library icons, but that is what I have.

I know this is probably a minor issue and it's only an extra click, but little things tend to annoy me sometimes - just ask my wife.  Big Smile

I would like it fullscreen by default.

Ctrl/Cmd+ L launches it in a full size floating window, but I forget this often until I have already clicked the icon. Likewise for right clicking.

It is designed at the moment to open the same as the other icons on the toolbar such as notes, tools, that is a window that appears to come from the toolbar, but a toggle in the settings would be nice.

You can pull this window to the right and a bit lower, using the little thing on the bottom right corner of the library window when launched from the toolbar, but I cannot get it to go to the bottom of the main window, there is a gap.

They should have telemetry to see what users prefer, perhaps many after launching from the toolbar then right click the icon and open in a floating window.

Or even make it more simpler, open it the way it was last closed. If you closed a floating window, open it like that again. If you closed a full screen one, do the same.

Actually, this is how ti works on Win 11 with the latest ver but only on Ctrl+L

When I right-click the library icon and choose "Open in a floating window," it opens full-screen on a secondary monitor.

Hmm ... if I open it in a floating window, resize it, close it, and reopen it in a floating window it always opens in the resized size i.e. the size and position it was when you closed it. Why isn't that a satisfactory solution to this request?

Are you talking about a layout or no layout. It opens in the size and position it was when you closed it at least for me on Win 11.

I think the issue might be the library icon which aways opens a pop-up window unless you do a RMB and open as floating. Then it resizes to latest state before last closing, I think.

I just tested the on click behavior on Win 11 - I resized to full screen using the lower left corner expand icon; closed; reopened - it reopened to expanded.

I follow what you did.... Using Windows 11....mine doesn't work that way.... but when I open in "floating window" then it opens full screen on one monitor.

It works for me hours later and after a restart. You must have done something different or be on different software versions.
