Corresponding Notes only show some Notebooks but not others?
I made a bunch of notes in the ESV and put them in a Notebook, "Psalter for Prayer." I later switched from the ESV to the ESV-CE to get the "apocryphal" books, but the Notes from that Notebook don't show up as "corresponding notes" in the visual filters in the ESV-CE, and they don't show up in the ESV-CE as a result. I notice that I have a number of Notebooks that don't show up in the list of available notebooks in the Visual Filters. Can anyone help?
Here are the ESV-CE on the left, showing no notes, and the ESV on the right showing the notes:
And here is the list from Visual Filters in the ESV-CE, showing that the Notebook, "Psalter for Prayer" is not available as corresponding notes:
There are a number of other notes Notebooks that also do not show up on that list in the Visual Filters. How can I get Logos to "see" the other ones so I can select them in the Visual Filters?

In the example you show, the note seems to be anchored to the reference (in this case the title) as opposed to a portion of text.
So this would have the notebook in the Notes and Highlights section of the visual filter menu not the Notes and highlights (Corresponding)
Do you see the Notebook in that section?

Good news and bad news:
- Yes, "Psalter for Prayer" indeed IS in the Notes and Highlights!
- NO, however, that does NOT make the corresponding notes "visible" in the ESV-CE! It was already checked, and there are no notes visible in the ESV-CE.
I'm even more confused!

Thanks Graham. Is the RI a separate resource? Is it possible the OP doesn't own it?
EDIT: I see in his screenshot the OL symbols. I assume that comes from the RI, right?

I <might> understand now. As far as I know, for notes to appear across bible translations, the note needs to be tied either to 1) a reference or 2) a selection where both the target and host resource have RI's.
Did Graham say that it appeared your note was tied to the heading? If so, that would not be a reference nor a selection with an RI. Does that explain it Graham?

I think the original notes were all from a Psalter based on the LXX that identifies the different "kathisma" groupings used in the Orthodox Church, but I see that when I click on the anchor in the note, it takes me to the ESV-CE, which is my "preferred" Bible, so I think that means it's a reference to the Scripture, not a selection from a particular translation. And it does look like I selected the title of the psalm in each case. There is no Reverse Interlinear in the LXX-based Psalter that I'm sure I used for the original notes. Here's one of the original notes:

OH!!!!! I'm so very sorry, so very embarrassed! I apologize to all for a very foolish mistake and for wasting all of your time and generosity in trying to help me!
Before my first post, I had clicked on a reference to a psalm, and I noticed that the note I expected to be there from my notes notebook "Psalter for Prayer" wasn't there. I opened the "regular" ESV and saw that it was there, so I was confused, and asked for help.
I just did some scrolling and found that it was just that the notes ARE THERE after all! It was just that for some reason in the ESV the note appeared as if attached to the title of the psalm, whereas in the ESV-CE the note appeared as if attached to which of the 5 BOOKS of the Psalter that particular psalm had been the first psalm of. If you look at the two images below, you see "no note" on the left in the top image, but in the bottom image I scrolled a bit and now you see that there ARE notes -- they just show up in different places, and when I clicked on a link to a psalm, it located the psalm in my window such that the note was out of sight "above" the visible part of the psalm. I feel like the fool I am, and I'm very sorry!

No problem at all - I can see why it would have been confusing
