Duplicate a resource in layout, changing settings in one but not the other
I have Lexham Hebrew-English Interlinear Bible open in my layout. I would like to duplicate or open a second instance of the this resource in my layout, float it, and change the visual filters setting in the floating tab to show Discourse Features (Hebrew) in one, but not the other. Is this possible?
The original tab is very narrow in my layout, which is fine when the Discourse Features are turned off, but when they're turned on I want to view them on a floating tab on a second monitor so I can widen the tab. When I duplicate the resource and change the Visual Filter settings it changes both of them. I'd like to change just one.

A number of feature settings are set at the resource level and therefore affect all occurrences of that resource. This behavior cannot be changed by the user.

That happened to me last week. I was going to try out prop-outlines visual filter in an LEB, but then my regular LEB changed too ... too narrow! That was the end of prop-outlines. I don't use the discourse VF; same reason. Instead the old dedicated discourse resources.
Yesterday, I had a Text Comparison for OL and another for english Bibles. But moving back and forth between hebrew and greek was a pain. So, I did a 3rd TC for hebrew, with one for greek. But the hebrew font was too big, so I made it smaller. It then changed the font in my english and greek TCs; unreadable. So now, huge fonts for hebrew.
I suspect the design decision is probably 2008 (very early).

Faithlife offers some Hebrew Bibles with the same Hebrew text: e.g. Lexham Hebrew Bible with Morphology (LHB)
Lexham Hebrew-English Interlinear Bible (LHI)
My Logos Library also has The Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible, which has Discourse Features (Hebrew) always on (predates dataset).
FWIW: English glosses in LHB are searchable so LHB has become my preferred Hebrew Bible.

Thanks for that suggestion of opening a similar resource like LHB. That partially solves the problem, because now I can show two Hebrew Bibles and show the discourse features on one and not on the other. Unfortunately the LHB does not have an interlinear, and my Hebrew is not that good, so this is not an ideal solution. I think I'll just float my LHI to another monitor, widen the pane, and keep the discourse features toggled on (which takes up more horizontal space), so I have both the discourse features and interlinear combined in one resource and enough space to view a decent number of words on one line.
I don't see how to turn on English glosses in LHB - can you tell me? I haven't learned how to use glosses yet. Thanks!0 -

Curious about Program Settings for Show Information Tool Tip ?
Hovering mouse on a word in LHB has an Information Tool Tip appear near the bottom of the tab, which shows lemma(s), morphology, gloss.
Visual Filters of Logos Hebrew Morphology (especially verbs) allows Hebrew & English words to have the same highlighting (along with showing verbal range of expression).

It's cool how you highlighted different parts of speech in different colors, like verbs, pronouns, etc. I opened up the same resources you show, LEB and LHB, and checked all the visual filter boxes, but I don't see how to turn that stuff on. I guess it can wait until I'm more advanced.

Thankfully Faithlife corporation enabled users to create & share documents: e.g. Visual Filters
My preferred group for sharing visual filters is Logos Visual Filters so following group allows shared documents to appear in your Docs => Group for selection & click "Add to your docs"
