Message pops up: "Background items added" in Mac
Hi,
After updating to Venture, the new MacOS system, a message pops up repeatedly saying: "Background items added." Is there any way of dismissing that message? I did go to settings and checked everything but it continues to pop up.
Thanks for checking,
Guillermo Mac Kenzie

Welcome! [:)]
I don't know where these are coming from. Are you running Proclaim? Do you have any Faithlife apps running other than Logos Bible Software (desktop version)?

For clarification: This is macOS, not "iOS" (the iPhone operating system).

Hi, thanks for answering.
No, I just have Logos from Faithlife. Anything else.

I'm not a Mac user, but I googled that message and it appears to be a popup from the new MacOS Ventura. Others are having problems with it being hard to dismiss as well. Perhaps this will help: https://iboysoft.com/news/background-items-added.html

Welcome [:D]
Logos & Verbum desktop app add indexer to start automatically for macOS user login.
FWIW: seem to remember if indexer startup at macOS login is disabled, then launching desktop app causes indexer to launch.
Keep Smiling [:)]
