I am working on some personal books and often get the message "Document contains an unsupported VML image which will not appear in the final document." Is there a way to search the Word document to find the VML images? Thanks!

I don't think so.
In fact, when I got this error, if I could really track it down to a real object in Word, it always was a useless graphical thing like a long line on a page or so, I think I've never encountered this for a real picture, table or other image item that had meaning. Thus I've come to disregard this message as spurious. My personal experience with this - YMMV.

Thanks. Yes that is what it seems to be a long line on a page usually designating a break in the flow or between chapters. It is easy to find them, just takes a bit of scrolling through the text.
