No dragging Notebooks into Favorites

I cannot drag a Notebook (from Notes) or individual notes into Favorites.

I use this function quite a bit. I still have all of my old Notebooks in Favorites, but can't add any new ones.

I believe this started with Logos 10, for me, but I can't remember for sure. Previously I could not add a Word document, but that has already been fixed.

I'm on Logos Bible Software 24.0 Beta 3 24.0.10

Have you tried restarting your computer? I have not tried the specific thing you are, but over the years there has been a persistent bug that pops up on mac which is similar to this... it doesn't happen all the time or for everyone. A restart sometimes helps. Try that and let us know how it goes.

I've tried shutting down Logos and restarting the computer many times and I did try again per your suggestion.

Still no ability to put a Notebook in Favorites.

Thanks for the report, but I can't reproduce this problem.

Remember that Favorites works by saving panels to a particular location.

So to save a notebook:

Open the Notebooks sidebar.
Select the Notebook.
Drag the panel tab to Favorites.

You can do the same thing for a single note by selecting in the list, and (optionally) opening the full-width edit mode. I hope that helps.

Can the icon be changed to look like the Notebook icon? That would helpful.

That's a good idea, but I'm afraid we don't have support for custom icons for Favorites yet.
