Missing Books on Mac

I just purchased the Leaders Pack and am excited to use it. It shows that I should have 23 English versions of the Word. I only have 14. The list doesn't include the ESV or the NASB. It's a bit frustrating. The system appears to have updated. The kicker is that I have an iPad and it has everything available online. This leads me to believe that the Logos servers know what I should have but somehow my system doesn't think it needs these items.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chad

If I wasn't in a great hurry I would wait until Alpha 19 comes out on Monday. There is a problem, at the moment with the syncing commands in Alpha 18 that might be improved in the new version.

Once it comes and you have updated (look for the 'Alpha 19 release notes' about 3 down from the top of the forum) then you can type "Update Resources" in the command line. Making sure that the item appears in the drop down menu - best to click on the menu rather than just pressing return.

Once you have done that restart Logos 4 and it should update your resources.

Of course you can try the instructions now and chance your luck.

I can, in fact, wait until Monday to see if the other versions are there. I have not read all 14 versions that are currently on my iMac but I'm sort of partial to the ESV. It's one of those Young, Restless, Reformed things only not so young or restless anymore. Somehow, I suspect that the system thinks I have all the resources. I tried to completely strip all files from my computer and start over but I don't think I hit the mark on that one.

You might try deleting your updates.db from /Users/<your_user_id>/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/<random_char>/UpdateManager and restarting Logos 4.

I need to make a confession. I think I may have left out a piece of the puzzle. A while back I had installed Libronix on my computer but never really used it. I did use the "Libronix Uninstaller 1.8" though to get rid of it. Could I possibly have these other Bibles just not in the right place. I've snooped around looking for them and can't find them. I did do what you suggested and it downloaded 142mb of something but not the Bibles I'm looking for. Any other clues?

Tom-It looks like I'm striking out here. I attached the logs. None of the updates this week have helped. I'm just wondering where the books are stored locally.

Upgrade to 19.1 from www.logos.com/logos4mac. This bug should be fixed in that release.
