Mac: Parallel Books Don't Advance (or Retreat) With Arrow Keys
Another thread this morning reminded me I had a new-Mac-user issue.
When my wife and I started using Macs, I noticed that the right-left arrow key maneuver in Logos did not advance through parallel books. The Pong ping sound was all I got. Manually selecting a book from the Parallel Books menu works, but that's not as fun or fast. So, this morning I opened the Parallel Books menu and clicked about, just to see if the Archie Bunker TV repair method (slap TV on side) would work. Wadyaknow, it started working. I tried a similar tactic on my wife's Mac, but no dice.
I have vision issues, so it's likely I have missed something. On Windows, ti just worked without any additional intervention. Is there some gnostic nod-wink sequence needed to set this up on a Mac (which I just stumbled upon unknowingly on my computer)?
The computers are identical: iMac 24 (M1); macOS Ventura 13.2.1; Logos Desktop 23.2.35.
BTW, the Wiki has Cmd+Arrow for the keyboard shortcut, but 'arrow' only works on my Mac, and neither works on my wife's.
Here's a screenshot of my Mac (the one where it works):

The likely issue is that the panel was not active (which means some other panel was). I have never had any issues with this feature on any of my Macs.

Like JT, I don't have the arrow-ing issue ... at least on Bibles (other than the 735 possible choices, not all at once)
For a long time, on non-Bibles, you had to be positioned correctly (at the headword) in order to avoid disaster (layout getting destroyed). That seems to now work a lot better.
It still gets mixed up on indices. If you're using a specific index, for whatever reason it'll quietly change indices on you (and then the arrow key impact).

Thanks for the reply, but no, only one panel was open and it was selected.

I have discovered the cause for the issue on my wife's Mac. I was testing that one using Splashtop remote, since I'm too clumsy to navigate a guitar stand and other begging-to-be-knocked-over items in her office. Splashtop was not properly transmitting the arrow keys. We tried it in-person and it works.
This, however, doesn't explain my initial difficulties with mine. I will use such vestigial superstition as sanctification hasn't yet remedied to explain that.

Thanks. Both are working now, so I'm calling it a goodie. It was all probably a compound Robertism.
