Why the Jump tp 24.0.14 from Logos 10 kind lost to this now.

There have been many posts about this, and “24” wasn’t the jump from 10 unless you didn’t update previously. Here is the TL;DR:

FL wanted the software numbering to become disassociated with the L9/L10/L11 schema because it is unrelated (and always has been). All users should update to the highest engine possible on their machine. FL wants a complete separation in the mind of users between the software version number and any any purchase they may have made.

It’s a good explanation. I do wonder how Logos 11 will be marketed then.

I think it will be marketed as expansion of your resources and features.

Well, maybe that will be easier to resist than “gotta have the max tier of the new upgrade…? [;)]

I have 17gb free so not space related

That actually seems very low with sometimes significant space required for indexing. https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007506971-Logos-Minimum-System-Requirements shows a minimum requirement of 30GB free.

I'm not saying that is the cause of the problem but worth looking into

Can you increase the amount of free space and try again?

If not, please upload logs after attempting an upgrade - and I recommend starting a new thread where this particular issue can be addressed.

Did you restart the computer? (That normally isnt needed, but worth trying).

Ok, seems when it went to 23 it must have asked for elevated permissions for install,
I held shift and control down when stating app and it askes if I wanted to allow it to make changes, its now happy and installed - but not aware I have ever needed to install with elevated permissions before

Logos 24.0.14 appears to have introduced a bug on Mac (Ventura 13.3.1) in which network changes, such as moving to a different WiFi network, either  with the same Network (192.168.1.0/24 to a different 192.168.1.0/24) or to another network (such as 192.168.1.0/24 to 192.168.5.0/24) causes Logos to lose its ability to sync, and requires a restart of the application to allow it to resume synchronizing.

This is a new issue, it did not occur previously.
