Notes in similar resources
Hi All,
I have both The Works of Philo (Yonge) and Philo Volumes I-X (Loeb). All my notebook notes in Yonge are not appearing in Loeb, and vice versa. Anybody have an idea on how to make that happen besides manually moving everything over one at time? Same goes for ESV to NET bible.
Thanks,
Carl

Same goes for ESV to NET bible.
For Bibles in which you own reverse interlinears, this feature is handled by "corresponding notes" visual filter. (three circles icon in the bible you want to see the notes).
I have both The Works of Philo (Yonge) and Philo Volumes I-X (Loeb).
I have no idea how this works, or if it does. Are these resources with reverse interlinears? Are they versified? If the answer is no to both, I think you are out of luck. If the answer is "yes" to one or more, then the answer would be the same as the bibles.

I know how Philo works; just not how notes work. So, maybe JT or someone else can assist on that.
In the screen below, Loeb is top-left/right; Yonge is bottom left, and the interlinear is from the Norwegian Concordance Project (Lexham). They're all linkable, and the 2 english line up by selected word (purple highlights), as well as the 2 greek similarly.

Hi DMB.... thank for that, but I already tried that (see attached). Still don't know why the notes are not syncing between Philo versions when everything else seems to be syncing. btw... my screen capture didn't capture the visual filter popup (but everything is checked).
Hi JT.... thanks. I don't think Philo is configurable to a reverse interlinear, but it is versified.
This is a bummer, because I have hundreds of notes in the Yonge version of Philo which are not visible in the Loeb version.

If you make your notes by reference rather than by selection, your notes will naturally appear across all copies. I just tested it on Augustine's City of God. However, reference may not be a workable level for notes in all resources. If it is not workable to use by reference, then DON'T move everything over ... simply add anchors.
