I have imported some word documents as monographs into logos on my desktop and can read them on the desktop.

However they will not show up on my Logos App library on my IPad or IPhone.

I do a lot of reading on my Ipad so any ideas would be helpful

thank you

Rob

    Hi Robert:

It is disappointing to many of us that Personal Books do not sync to mobile devices or the web app. Many years of inquiry to Faithlife regarding when or if that will be possible have yielded explanations that have morphed over time from 'well, maybe' to 'this reason' or 'that reason', and has finally hardened to 'definitely not'.

In case you don't know, make sure to use the Upload function to sync the PBs across multiple desktop (Win or Mac) installations.

Thank you Robert for the reply - and yes - I am very disappointed but at least i wont waste time on trying to get it working.

I had decided i wanted all my study notes & study documents (eg one is 300+ pages) in Logos so i could access it all anywhere.

If there is something to vote for - i would vote for this :)

    many thanks

    Rob

I think the you will be flogging a dead horse.

Unfortunately some users 'Personal Books' turned out to be pirated copies of books in publication.

Faithlife may be wary of extending their liability to accusations of 'facilitating copyright theft'.

Frankly I am surprised that they haven't shut down the desktop operation.

You may vote for it here: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-mobile-app/posts/allow-us-to-use-our-personal-books-on-the-mobile-app - however, it is already with a wide margin the most-voted for enhancement request for Logos mobile, and it basically is a strategic decision by Faithlife (Mike told a bit of the very old story which led the former CEO to become reluctant towards PBs, but maybe the times are a-changing .... someday)

someday... is that the day that Christians take copyright seriously*, don't reap to the edge of their fields when paying for resources, and pay all the church staff a decent living wage?

    someday aye.

Quoting the classics ... always a nice touch.

    .... someday

Could be ... the wheel's still in spin and there's no tellin' who that it's namin'

Actually, a couple of years ago, I had given up on Read Aloud on mobile ... and here we are.
