Hi Logos friends,
I am attempting to verify values before turning in my dissertation. I was hoping that someone could verify the veracity of the following words and counts:
BHS total count for the preposition לְ
Total: 20,058
BHS total count for the preposition בְּ
Total: 15,542
BHS total count for the preposition כְּ
Total: 2,964 (I am suspicious this is incorrect. Seems too low.)
BHS total for Waw conjunction וְ:
per Logos: 51,272;
per Accordance: 50,273.
Rahlfs-Hanhart (must be 2006 Hanhart update):
This must be done carefully. The totals needed for Rahlfs-Hanhart are the totals only where it translates the Hebrew Bible/Protestant Old Testament. Original Greek compositions should not be included. Deuterocanon counts should not be included (Baruch; Susanna; Bel; Letter of Jeremiah; Judith; Tobit; etc.). Only included are the 39 books of the Hebrew Bible/Protestant Old Testament (bearing in mind that the Septuagint combines a few).
Total Rahlfs-Hanhart for καί: 56,316
Total Rahlfs-Hanhart for δέ: 4,777
Total Rahlfs-Hanhart for en: 11,071
Total Rahlfs-Hanhart for dia: 971
Total Rahlfs-Hanhart for eis: 5,649
Total Rahlfs-Hanhart for kata: 1595
Total Rahlfs-Hanhart for peri: 522
Total Rahlfs-Hanhart for pros: 3,576
Total Rahlfs-Hanhart for hypo: 260
More difficult searches...
Logos’ Bible Word Study is not operating correctly for me. Customer Service is looking into it. I have the following values for additional criteria. These searches are fairly easy using the Bible Word Study tool and the pie chart function. But, again, mine is defunct.
(a) Rahlfs-Hanhart εἰς translating לְ: 1,854
(a1) Rahlfs-Hanhart en translatingל : ???
(b) Rahlfs-Hanhart εἰς translating בְּ : 621
(b1) Rahlfs-Hanhart en translating ב: ???
(c) Rahlfs-Hanhart εἰς translating כְּ : 15
(c1) Rahlfs-Hanhart en translating כְּ: ???
(d) Rahlfs-Hanhart καὶ translating waw conjunction: ???
(e) Rahlfs-Hanhart δὲ translating waw conjunction: ???
NA28 searches Mark:
The following queries need to terminate search of Mark at 16:8a. If unable, then through 16:8 is fine. I can subtract additional phenomena. To search for paratactic kai, a search for kai with an additional syntax function for conjunctions should work.

(g) NA28 paratactic καὶ in Mark 14:1-16:8a: 173
