Inter-translational comparison
Hi,
I'm wondering whether there is a way to use the Bible/morph search to see how many times a particular Hebrew word (e.g., הֶבֶל) is used by a particular Greek word (e.g., μάταιος). It can be done through the Bible Word Study; however, the LXX results are often broken up into the various different cases (as can be seen in the picture). Is there a way to get this result based on the root word, not just the variants?
Is there a comprehensive discussion of the search bar and its uses? I get the feeling that, if I only knew how to manipulate it better, I could use it far more effectively than I currently do?
Many thanks, Simon

While you're waiting for a search answer, have you played with Septuagint with Logos Morphology (Text) which has the hebrew/greek alignments, hebrew roots directly accessible, greek pretty sure.

Bible Search idea is:
root.h:הֶ֫בֶל.1 INTERSECTS root.g:ματαιος
Ecclesiastes 1:2 has five results.
It can be done through the Bible Word Study; however, the LXX results are often broken up into the various different cases (as can be seen in the picture).
My apologies for not seeing a picture.

Thanks for your help. I couldn't remember what was the key word (INTERSECTS). Thank you very much!
