Export from Sermon Builder is not working

Sorry!  We were unable to send your sermon to Faithlife Proclaim.  With a big ol orange exclamation point.

Doesn't export to a new presentation, a previously created presentation, doesn't export from Mac or Windows and doesn't export from the Web App either.

It doesn't export to a powerpoint presentation either which says a logos problem and not a proclaim problem.

Do other exports work correctly or is it an export issue?

Exporting to word works, exporting to powerpoint wasnt working either - only non rendered (text is editable) works.  Everything else fails to export.

Our team is aware that a bug exists in this area and will be working this week to resolve it.  We have clear steps to reproduce this issue, but I'd also be curious about your steps to make sure that we have that documented as well.

The majority of the issues I've found with this revolve around using a custom background image rather than the options from Logos Media.  When this takes place, it can incorrectly add a secondary "Body Text" area.  When in this state, I've found that the export process fails.  

Is this similar to how you arrived at that unfortunate outcome?  If your experience is different, please let me know so that we can make sure that route is also patched up.  Thank you and we will be getting on this fix right away.

I was experiencing the background issue but not when using custom backgrounds - how do I get rid of this?.  I stick to themed backgrounds.  The only thing I do is change the size to 1920x1080 (another question I had is why doesnt Logos allow me to change one and set it for the rest?).

I had this happen to me. Extremely annoying as I am still waiting for the Sermon Builder to be what it was promised to be by the people who sold it to me. Oh well...it's only been like....well not sure how long now lol. 

Any luck resolving this?  I am on the phone with support and they seem to not know that is an issue.

We are still working through all the different scenarios of how this error can be caused.  The main one was when text showed up incorrectly in two different text field boxes.  But I found another scenario today where if you have brought in a quote from the Popular Quotes feature within Sermon Builder, that can cause issues.  

Again, I'm not certain if this may be the root cause of yours or not, but I found that if the author name shows up in the "Citation" field when in editing mode within the Media tool, I was not able to export it to Proclaim.  However, once I removed the name from the citation area, it allowed the export to go through.  

We're in a meeting currently as a development team to try to get this resolved as absolutely soon as possible.  In the meantime, I hope to find some workarounds to share with you to help try to get it to a place where it can be exported.  If you have any Popular Quotes in your document, I encourage you to try this method.  If not, I'll be back soon with more details on how this could be temporarily fixed manually before we roll out the major fix that won't require any manual adjustments.

Please try exporting your sermon again.  We pushed some code this morning to help address this issue.  A couple of the sermons that were failing me during my tests are now working.

I was able to export just fine this week.  I stayed with one style theme and didn't use author quotes that list the name of the author.  Thank you for everyone who reached out to help me through this issue.  I am glad to say everything seems to be working fine now.

I just had the same problem - 10 hours before I need to preach and no power point export!

I have not changed anything from what I've been doing for the past 2 months ( I didn't preach the last 2 weeks).

After finding this post I removed any author quotes, etc. but still not exporting.
