make search so it is not specific with regard to capitalization

I was searching (inline) for "Hope deferred makes the heart sick." So I entered "hope deferred" and was surprised not to find any verses. So I entered "heart sick" and found it. Why didn't the first search work? Because I didn't capitalize "Hope".

I never imagined that search not work if I didn't get the capitalization correct.

I think that should be changed.

The search box has an icon to the right of the search parameters that allows for the search to match case. Make sure it is not checked.

Hi Daniel - and welcome to the forums.

John has explained the problem but it isn't actually possible to change this setting from an inline search.

Rather this needs to be set in a search window and then the inline search function will honour it

I suspect less expert folks wouldn't even know to miss the inline search part. Another design shortcoming; surely they'd know (pretty basic planning), if re-use code (search), then would need to display any options that are active.

I always use Control-F ... it never cared!
