Leapin' Lizards and the translation window
When I am using the translation window (many times every day) and move along through the primary text, every time I come to a new paragraph that gets automatically translated (wonderful!) my primary text resizes, leaps, jumps, crawls up the walls. Almost. That is a royal pain when I am trying to select something or keep my cursor homed in on a location.
Please, can the windows be independent enough to translate in the right window and leave my primary text formatting alone?
Edit: One important detail:
The problem does not occur during normal scrolling--well actually it does sometimes.
The problem occurs when I select a chunk of text to translate.

Maybe I should have labeled this: BUG!
Does anyone else care? Is anyone else using the translation feature?0 -
I agree it should be labeled BUG
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

We currently have a case to make adjustments here. I'll add a link to this post in the case so we can post here if any changes are made.

While fixing the leaping screen, I have more requests:
1. When scrolling verse by verse, the translated text often skips entire verses, sometimes more than one verse. I can keep expanding the translated session, but we can do better. Please fix translation so that it does not skip verses.
2. When I click on text, I probably want the text at my cursor location translated. This behavior could be open to debate. Fix translation so that it translates text of the verse(s) at or around my cursor position.
In hope...

I recommend using the feedback site to make suggestions for these items.
For what it's worth, you should see on item 1 that on navigation, the translation shows the first paragraph whose start is visible. This means that the translation isn't (shouldn't be) getting skipped, but we recognize that it does move on before your are ready if you are navigating using the "next verse" button.
