How t o remove "next step bible study" banner

I'm wondering how I can remove the blue banner

Don't know about the OP's re-occurring banner, but a naive entry into app.logos.com isn't too re-assuring.  I think I'd slide over to Bible Gateway.

I log into many computers throughout the week and they all keep showing this banner. I click it away and like the cat from the song.... it came back the very next day. 

I have actually purchased things from Logos. 3-4 bibles so far at least. So it's not like I haven't bought things. 

I hope the admins at Faithlife haven't gone all weird about this. I really like Logos but this is very aggressive and odd marketing.

It's important to us that you to think of Logos as a trusted space to do deep Bible study-- we really don't annoy our current users with a bunch of ads. At the same time, we experimenting on the web app with adding some (we hope) tasteful messaging let people know how they can get more out of Logos.

That banner is currently being shown to any signed-in user who has never purchased any base package, which was the simplest thing we could do for the experiment. We are working on a more sophisticated version of the banner that we can be selective about who to show it to. 

I think I'd slide over to Bible Gateway.

Honest question: What is it about Bible Gateway that gives you a better first-time impression? 

Logos is 100 million times better than Bible Gateway. Blue banner or not. The power that Logos offers has no match at Bible Gateway. 

The notes, search, interlinear organization of notes, highlights.... I could go on.

I just really want that banner to go away. 

To be more clear about answering the (honest question),

In all sincerity I don't think the 2 are comparable in most ways. 

1. First impressions of gateway 

- jarring

- full of adds and cruft

- appearance feels confused (not clear that it's a bible study tool)

Guys, exegesis, exegesis!  The screencopy.

The app.logos.com on naive entry (no login) is a spinning top for ESV. Can't deliver a basic 'Bible' (you know, verses, that thing). Not that I care (I log-in).  But as a potential discover-er of app.logos, I'd move on.

You do have a point. Logo without purchasing bibles or basic starter packs wouldn't seem very impressive unless you take time to investigate. 

I was introduced by a friend. I used to use Olivetree bible because I used to use a Palm 3 handheld. 

However I hadn't found any good online multiplatform Bible app. When I saw the power of Logos I was sold. I didn't really love the Lexham Bible so I bought a few more. 

I'm a linux user so I really like the online app. I would love a linux installable version but..... maybe one day.

If you are patient and techie, you may be able to do so... but it is unsupported. There are some Linux users on here who may be able to point you in the right direction.
