Here is an example of what I consider a really poor interface. The biblical people section of the passage guide.
I ran a passage guide for Genesis 28 in the biblical people section has a number of headings and then a number of completely faded drawings. The use of faded drawing seems to be without reason in this case. (I really want to say silly, but I held my tongue). Why are these drawings faded at all? They are the results we are expecting to use, they are not background information at this point. Using this logic, everything on but the headers of the passage guide should be faded so as to be unreadable.
However, even if they were darker, they would still be useless. The only way they become useful is to move your curser over them and wait for the pop up help. I think you should either have the pop up help always on, below each drawing, or replace the small diagrams with just the text from the pop up.
Finally, when the pop up help does appear, it shows the following random placement of the drawings:
- The largest drawing under the Jacob heading is actually titled Abraham in the pop up help.
- The largest drawing under the Abraham heading is actually titled Esau in the pop up help
- The largest drawing under the Isaac heading is actually title Jacob in the pop up help
Wouldn't it make more sence if the largest drawing under each heading was actually the drawing for that biblical person?
The more I use the interface, the more I become frustrated with the use of faded stuff.

Clinton
