Searching Mobile without Internet
Internet access at my church isn't available and my mobile phone's reception is very bad due to the construction of the building. That means that I'm often left without Internet access.
It seems that the Bible searching functionality of the mobile app is extremely limited without Internet access. I can do single word searches (e.g. "glory") but I cannot even do a multiple word search (e.g. "glory AND crown), much less more complex searches.
This is an extremely limiting. Is there a way to search w/o Internet access?

There are certainly lots of great things about Logos. But the dependency upon indices for operations like this is pretty bad design. Even free applications can perform such basic searches.

Hi Jeremy, unfortunately, offline search on mobile is pretty slow at the moment, therefore, it is working as designed (albeit, probably undesirably). However, we're pleased to hear that you (and others) are using Search on mobile. Please feel free to make a feature request for Mobile Search improvements on Faithlife Feedback. We look through all feature requests when considering future development.

Thank you, I'm ok with a slow search.
But as I noted above it appears these searches are not even possible. Is there no way to run these types of searches offline?

Multiple words that are connected with an operator like
AND
or<strong>OR</strong>
are not understood on mobile. But if you search something such asin the beginning
, then it should work offline. The offline search is looking for a match of the whole query and doesn't understand any special syntax - it will think that's part of the query.Ali Pope | Logos Desktop and Mobile Program Manager
