The title of the post says it all. I run a Bible Word Study (e.g., for μαθητής) and click the Greek Classics link under the Textual Searches section. The search panel that appears does a search in All Books rather than—as expected—in the Greek Classics.

There is a particular set of books that Logos is evidently searching with the results shown in the screenshot, but when I click the Greek Classics link, the search panel displays the following:

The workaround, of course, is to use the All Books link and change to some suitable collection I already have defined. But this is not the expectation for the software.

Interestingly enough, all of the other Textual Searches links behave as expected.

Can't speak to your Greek Classics, but alternatively I selected Patrologia Graeca (looks like the same issue below). Then, I tried a more common lemma; search was lost (never stopped; killed it).

This is an issue with the current stable release - discussed in https://community.logos.com/forums/t/215600.aspx

In that thread Lawrence advised that it would be fixed in Logos 26 beta 1 - and I've just checked in the current beta (26 beta 3) and it works correctly.

So this issue should be resolved when Logos 26 ships to the stable channel - which I think is scheduled for around 20/21 June

Thanks for the reply! Good to know this is a known issue.
