[FEATURE REQUEST] Ad Parallel Button

Hello

It is very cool to have a "Parallel" button. We can easily change the same parallels.
But there is no feature to "Ad" one of the parallels as a separate tab which is then also right away tied together.

Logos

Same in Accordance to change quickly to a parallel corpus.

But Accordance has also an "Ad Parallel" button which opens a new tab with the same corpus and it is right away tied together.

I see no such feature in Logos/Verbum

In Logos one makes parallel collection sets. Accordance does have a nice approach.

I had to try out what you were talking about:

1. First, there's a gazillion Bibles in random order (in mine, anyway). True, I could narrow with a collection, so only a million or so.

2. There's no way to type in a selection to quickly narrow down the choices. Squint and find (Logos technique).

3. And when I did select one, it replaced the Bible in my layout ... and I couldn't quickly return to it. Had to re-build the layout and settings. Easier than squint/find technique).

I can see that the current 'design' is basically to provide a visual list, relative to the arrow keys. Which many people like. But if you jump the list, you're in big, big trouble.

And adding a tab, auto-linked, would be nice. It's quite convenient in Accordance. Then I wouldn't have to fix the layout each time (squinting is a problem).

Yes the no search feature is not good. I requested it but I have no clue if it comes in the next 20 years. Or even after.

Weird - my default collection is in priority order not that it matters as I use my own subsets. Post cataract surgery, the squint feature ceased to work in mine as well. Sometimes I'm tempted to offer you my installation - it seems to be so much more predictable but it would drive you nuts given our different interests.
