Bug: NASB95, interlinear alignment, clicking and search results
I have v. 26.1.32 running on Windows 10. Normally, if I click on a word, the interlinear pane at the bottom will follow me. But after a recent update, random words will not cause the pane to center or engage at all... even that clicked word will not highlight. Some words function properly, others don't.
E.g., I click on Elijah, and that word is shaded while the interlinear pane is centered correctly. But if I click on Obadiah (or land or alive, etc.) it remains unshaded and the interlinear pane does not engage.
The "corresponding words" feature also doesn't track if clicking on one of these randomly "dead" words. (When I can successfully click a word, the "corresponding" highlighted terms are random.)
E.g., clicking on Obadiah causes no corresponding words to highlight, even though I am in a sea of Obadiahs.
E.g., clicking on Elijah, the "corresponding" highlighted word is "they said." "Went" produces "and said" and "nation or kingdom"
Also, if I search the NASB95 for any lemma (even the ones behind surface words that are "working" properly), it will give 0 results (whether starting from a search tab or a right-click search). Correct results appear for other resources (e.g., the ESV). However, searching the Strong's number will produce results.
I've tried restarting the NASB, restarting Logos, commanding an update and re-indexing the NASB95.
Any ideas of what to do?
(No pics, as there are too many bugs to depict and hopefully my description makes it clear enough.)

Can you provide the Bible reference you are working on? Not knowing how the text is aligned to the Hebrew, I can't provide a decent answer.

In the above example, I'm jumping around in the first half of 1 Kings 18. But the same effect is true across all passages I've tried, OT and NT.

And it's not as though some words work throughout the passage and others don't. E.g., some occurrences of Elijah work properly, but others are "dead" (don't engage the interlinear pane or corresponding words).

I have Windows 11 and Logos 26.1.32. I've poked around a lot of places in 1 Kings 18 using NASB95 with the interlinear ribbon turned on and everything appears normal to me.

Okay. Mine works just fine. You said you had already tried reindexing. Try redownloading:
- In the library information panel, click the box to remove the Bible from the machine
- Close the application
- Reopen the application
- in the library information panel, click the download box to reload the Bible
- Give the library time to reindex
- Now try the interlinear again.

I tried this, but all the issues are still present. But thanks for the suggestion.

Clicking an icon on the left-hand ribbon, I can see that there are 17 [recently?] updated datasets, among which are "The English-Greek Reverse Interlinear New Testament New American Standard Bible NASB95 NT RI" and "The English-Hebrew Reverse Interlinear Old Testament New American Standard Bible NASB95 OT RI." Perhaps these updates are buggy. Does anyone no how to revert or reinstall those specific updates?

you might call/chat/email tech support. I don't know how to force the dataset to redownload if redownloading the book didn't force it.

Delete these files from ...\Logos\Data\randomId\ResourceManager\Resources\
- NASB95PARANT.lbsrvi
- NASB95PARAOT.lbsrvi
Then restart Logos.
If you have the other '95 version, the names are in the Support Info at the bottom of its Information page.

Sadly, this did not work. I was not using the paragraph edition, but I tried what you said for that as well as the regular 95 edition. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I think Dave is on the right track. The behavior you're describing sounds like the reverse interlinear resource versions do not correspond to the Bible resource version. The resource info pane for the Bible should list all of the resource ids and reverse interlinear versions it is using. Could you post that information?
