How to disable autocomplete search suggestions
When I start keying in characters in a search tab, Logos 10 desktop attempts to suggest matching stuff for pretty much each character I key in. I don't need these, and they're slowing me down, but I haven't been able to figure out how to turn that off.
Is this possible? I'm attempting to attach a screen video to show what I mean.

No, you're sort of stuck.
Luckily since it doesn't have spelling-repair, it checks spelling by no suggestions. Bad humor.

The response is good as I didn't see it slowing your input. It used to be annoying when you could not type whilst waiting for a suggestion.

I don't think the video adequately shows what's happening. It is severely slowing my typing--and this is with 12th gen i7 processor and 16gb of RAM.
Typically I search for whole phrases or a set of keywords. When I go into the search field, I already know what phrase or words I want to search, and I want to enter them entirely before any search process begins.
For example, a moment ago, I was looking for the publican's prayer in the parable in Luke 18. I wanted to search merciful me sinner
How it went...
mer... (lag and list) ciful... (lag and list refresh)... me.. (lag, list refresh) ... sinner... (finally the search I really wanted)
For context, I'm frequently in the middle of writing a paragraph in a word processor. A biblical allusion or phrase comes to mind and I want to include the reference. I pop over to Logos to look it up and there's a lag and refresh for every couple of keystrokes.
I think if I close my eyes, it probably works just as fast and doesn't drop any keystrokes. But why should that be necessary?
So the way this works is really disrupting my workflow.
I get that some find this feature useful (though I find it hard to imagine how), but it should be possible for those of us who want to keep things moving along to turn it off.
Edit: I just tried to reproduce the lag+list behavior that interrupted my writing and now it isn't happening. So it's a bit mysterious to me what gets this disruptive autocomplete thing going vs. when it doesn't happen. It would still be better to be able to disable it and have it never happen.
