I would like to have visual filter highlighting on one synoptic gospel, let’s say Luke ….
One color for verses (or pericopes / sections) where the verse has a parallel in Matthew.
Another color where the verse in Luke is unique ….
Can this be done?
You would have to compile a list of parallel verses and use milestone ranges with a highlight colour in the VF.
You could use the heading: field for pericopes that cover the required passages, but it would require the full name to be properly highlighted.
Another color where the verse in Luke is unique
Similar requirement, but you have to compile verses/pericopes with no parallel in Matthew and Mark.
Using pericopes would be the most efficient way and avoid drowning the book in highlights!
You would have to compile a list of parallel verses ...
So it might be possible, but only with a lot of work [Y]
Thanks Dave

Yes, a lot of work within Logos; no, outside Logos. Like the Document Hypothesis, synoptics are just lists ... variable by author, and partial verses, if done right. I have it in my Bible software, probably 15 years ago.
For whatever reason, Logos could handle variable timeline dating but shies away from textual construction.
I suggest voting for Synoptic Gospel Tagging? | Logos
You won’t get the highlighting, but I’d use a gospel harmony/synopsis for this sort of enquiry - the Aland one comes in a lot of base packages:

I find the parallel Gospel Reader interactive incredibly helpful because you can hover to show cross-higlighting.
