Another tip of the day (TOTD) series for Logos/Verbum 10. They will be short and often drawn from forum posts. Feel free to ask questions and/or suggest forum posts you'd like to see included. Adding comments about the behavior on mobile and web apps would be appreciated by your fellow forumites. A search for "L/V 10+ Tip of the Day site:community.logos.com" on Google should bring the tips up as should this Reading List within the application.

This tip is inspired by the forum post: Key Information in Bible Book Studies - Logos Forums

Depending upon the information you want both Factbook and the Bible Book Explorer interactive (under tools) contain lots of useful information. You need to spend some time with both tools to get a sense of what is available. This is a case where Logos has provided solid, easily accessible information but as users we tend to want to build out own convoluted search.

From Factbook:

Expanding the Bible Book Guide which used to be its own entry

The Bible Book Explorer on the (default) books page (see upper right view options)

Clicking on the book name brings up an information page - works on most views

Timeline view. Note source is selectable; use feedback to request additional sources

Intertext view - relationships selectable as well as the actual books etc. See L/V 10+ Tip of the Day #189 Intertext tab of Bible Books Explorer - Logos Forums)

See statistics - selectable statistics two views, one below the other.

A summary table view

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I have looked around, + don't believe I have Bible Book Explorer [BBE].

I looked under Tools.  Therein are greyed out functions I do not have.

BBE is not mentioned, not even in a greyed out manner.

I own basic, so may not have BBE.

But, please, where is BBE supposed to be?

I believe if it is greyed out, it is not  part of the package you own.

I don't have Bible Books Explorer.  I only have Bible Outline Browser.

Thanks, MJ.  Thanks, Ryland, for your reply, as well.
