Feedback on Sermon Builder and Note Taking Functionality
I am writing to share my feedback and experiences with your Sermon Builder and Note Taking software. As a loyal customer, I feel it is crucial to bring certain issues to your attention.
Six months ago, I reluctantly had to stop using your software due to persistent technical issues. I had a particularly vexing problem with Chinese characters disappearing whenever I selected and right-clicked on the text. This has caused significant inconvenience and disruption to my workflow, especially considering the vital nature of my work - sermon preparation.
One distressing incident that stands out was on a Saturday night, a day before my scheduled Sunday preaching. I was trying to copy and paste my text into a Word document, but when I selected all and right-clicked, my entire script vanished. This unfortunate event led me to cease using your software and turn to Microsoft OneNote instead.
However, I didn't want to give up on your product that easily. After noting several software updates in the ensuing months, I was optimistic that these issues had been resolved. Therefore, I decided to give your software another chance, despite its premium price tag.
To my dismay, I encountered the same frustrating issue again - my work disappeared. I genuinely hope this feedback helps you understand the severity of this problem and encourages your team to investigate and address this issue promptly.
I believe your software has great potential, but the persistent technical problems have unfortunately overshadowed its benefits. I am eager to continue using your product, but only if these crucial issues are addressed.

This is a forum for Logos users - we do our best to help one another. Although there are Logos employees that are on these forums sometimes, this is not an official technical help forum. I have two suggestions:

This is very concerning behavior and we absolutely want to do whatever we can to improve on this experience for you. A few questions for you...
1) Have you experienced this bug on just the desktop app or have you also seen it on our web app (app.logos.com)? It would be interesting to know if it was happening in both places or only the desktop app.
2) Are you aware that Sermon Builder has a "Version History" feature which should allow you to revert back to a prior version of the sermon document prior to it being deleted? To access this, make sure the info right sidebar of Sermon Builder is open and then click on the icon that looks like a clock to access previous versions. Note - - I'm not justifying this bug by saying just to use this whenever it happens. I still very much want to resolve this situation. However, in the meantime, if you happen to run into this again, this feature may help you quickly recover your work.
