Does anyone know roughly when Logos' web app first went live? I'm assuming it was biblia.com back then?

No, that was always separate.

I don't remember and don't want to try and hunt it down... but I believe it was in "beta" as part of a Logos Now subscription.

A ways down, Phil presents app.logos.com as a brand new ....
Biblia.com seems to precede Logos4 days:

While that thread speaks of Libronix, it is also from 2010, and I am pretty sure I was beta testing Logos 4 in the Summer of 2009, with the general release of it that fall. The whole way of purchasing books over the web spoken of is much more the Logos4 way of doing things than Libronix, although both systems were running for a while...
I don't disagree, but Biblia was a digital display site. Not sales. True they were shipping CDs pre-L4. Another speculative clue: Biblia used Libby's palette.
I had not been on Biblia in years. What is the purpose of it? You can do everything in the web app that you can in Biblia.
My guess would be the engine runs the reftag lookup, along with the previews on Logos.com, and a simpler interface for people discovering 'Logos'.
Biblia's interface is more basic. I wonder if it could be positioned for casual users to introduce them to Logos? I'm thinking of the kind of users who would opt for YouVersion, Bible Gateway, or one of the many other free Bible apps out there who don't realize the potential of software like Logos.
Logos Web App has nothing to do with biblia.com. Logos Web App released during Logos 6 and what used to be Logos Now. Back then it was in beta for Logos Now users.

My point is there is a market for simple, web-based Bible referencing that is add/clutter free and frictionless. Would be a great way to try and get the name/brand out there.
