Coupon Codes, Free Books, & "Snooze-U-Lose"

I hope everybody was on the ball and downloaded their free John Piper book (Bible Study Magazine promo that just ended.) I was aware the special code expires today (9-14) and just assumed the date was inclusive like American merchant's usually do. Bad assumption.
I thought maybe I was doing something wrong in applying the coupon so I checked out the support page for downloading free books. http://www.logos.com/support/free_download
I noticed nowhere does it mention the discount code. If you follow these instructions your credit card will be charged the retail price. When I voted on the user feedack for the help page it rated a whopping 2.3. Since every other instruction on the page is very clear I am assuming it has to do with the discount code info missing. But with my track record on assumptions today that probably is incorrect too.
Lesson learned: Jump on the freebies while they are fresh. They may not be there on the last day. - My kids learned to do that a long time back when we bring home or ice cream.

Matthew, the offer is still good through the end of today. You can get all the details here: http://www.biblestudymagazine.com/john-piper/ but hurry—today really is the last day. When you put the coupon code in your cart at checkout and refresh the page you will see that there is a zero dollar total.

Thanks Dan!
I tried it twice in the wee hours of this morning but when I updated the cart nothing changed. I suppose I could have gotten the BIBLESTUDYMAGAZINE code wrong but I was using cut-&-paste to enter it. [*-)]
Anywhooo.... I just tried it one more time at your prompting and it sailed through without a hitch. I confirmed it did download & open in Logos.
Nice..... Thank you for your timely response. ~ Matthew
Let that be a lesson to all you kiddies out there; Don't try downloading before the sun rises and don't whine about it if you do (& it doesn't take!)
There are still a couple hours left if you haven't downloaded it yet!Logos 7 Collectors Edition

I know it is too late but somehow I missed the promo. Was it in the magazine and I just didn't see it?

Sorry you missed it Marshall.
I first found it on the Logos Blog and also got an e-mail on it. (Subscribe to everything from Logos in your account page under "subscriptions." That way, you'll never miss out on a Pre-Pub you want but had not yet ordered.)
On the Inauguration Day for Obama, Logos ran a one day special on the American History Collection (8 Vols.). I missed out on that deal.
Wanna Freebie right now? Grab one of these. Or both!

Thanks Matthew.
I have both of those freebies though I had forgotten about having The Love Affairs of a Bibliomaniac.
I've owned Logos since the old Level 2 days back in the mid '90s and over time I've built up my collection with books that I'm interested in and that meet my needs. I did buy the Bible Study Library about a year or two ago. I had to reinstall Vista several months ago and I just got around to putting Logos back on to my PC last week. I'm starting a small men's discipleship group and suddenly the need for the software went up a notch. [:D]
Still have lots to learn,

Hi Marshall, they still have a PDF version at http://www.desiringgod.org/ResourceLibrary/onlinebooks/bytitle/3588_Finally_Alive/
Great to hear you are doing a discipleship group for men, it's been a passion of mine for more then 15 years now, and yes, Logos fits the need as you are preparing for your group. I've tried several books, and studies, finding "Top-gun" was an awesome program http://www.topgunministries.org/ founded a good friend Steve Sonderman at a Church just up the road from me. It's been working great for over 3 years at my current church home.
A book for anyone that wants to make discipleship a mission for themselves is "Eternal Impact:Investing in the Lives of Others" by Phil Downer http://www.dnaministries.org/. He was a guest speaker three years ago at a Top-gun seminar.
Good Stuff, His best on your discipleship study efforts!
