Logos Opening Issue

Is anyone else unable to open Logos? I've tried running as an admin, turning off the internet, and opening it by clicking on the icon and it will begin to open then shut down immediately. Is anyone else having this problem, and is there a remedy that doesn't involve iuninstalling and reinstalling Logos? Thank you for your input!

It would help to know which computer and OS you are working on (Mac or Windows, and the operating system), and whether you are using the current release of Logos or the beta.

Try opening to a blank layout. Press and HOLD the control key immediately upon start up.

Stephen, I'm still using Windows 10 but I had the same issue as you have had. Once I installed the latest Logos update it fixed it and I have not had a crash since. I'm running 27.2.21 without any issues now.

You may have another copy of Logos running in the background. Reboot your computer and see what happens.

Than you! it worked! But only if I hit Ctrl. But it updated and now I can open it regularly.
I think Logos updated due to a recent Windows 11 update. So perhaps that fixed the problem. IDK. Either way, the Ctrl key worked. I appreciate the advice from all of you.

I had the same problem: crashing on load.
The problem stopped briefly after Logos updated to 27.2.21 but then returned.

Instead of holding down Ctrl to start, I've set "At Startup Open to: Blank Layout" under Program Settings. Logos loads successfully to a blank layout, and then I can choose any layout I like and it works.

If you are running beta macOS, this is a known issue. Your only option is to download the beta version of Logos.

If you are NOT running beta macOS, please create a new thread, enable logging, and post them (see my signature line).
