I forgot to turn the Beta Channel off and the Beta 2 for the Logos 28.0 updated
now my Logos bombs out everytime I try to Load a Commentary or just simply click
on a Link in Logos.
I have about 8,000 books and don't know what to do.
I uninstalled Logos Bible Study in Window 10. Went online
and downloaded Logos available as a free download. It reinstalled
but now won't run. Says my books are not compatible and that I
need to install Version 28.0 Beta 2 which caused my problems in
the first place. WHAT CAN I DO??
Where can I download the proper version to get me up and running?
CaNNOT UNDERSTAND WHY IT WON"T RECOGNIZE MY BOOKS AND
COMMENTARIES. Can you send me a link to the right version? Is there
some way to delete the Logos Subdirectory, etc... and start from scratch
and let it find all my books and download them again when I login to my
Faithlife account? PLEASE HELP!!! GOT A SERMON TO DO FOR
SUNDAY and really neet to get my Logos working.
If there is a reinstall that will repair and correct the problem please tell
me what the current install is for Windows 10. I need a Setup.exe that
will get the job done. I promise to never again upgrade to a Beta Version
again. TOO UNSTABLE FOR MY PURPOSES......

The "under the hood" items are expecting Version 28, beta 2 (or newer).

The one you downloaded is the "right" one, so you don't need another link.
You have two options:
1. Delete EVERYTHING and reinstall. (You should be able to move your books to a new directory and save on download time).
2. Use the Web App until a new version works.

It doen't work just to Uninstall via the Control Panel in WIndows 10.
Where do I find the Logos Subdirectory in Windows 10?
Cannot seem to locate it in my boot drive (Drive C:\)Would like to save the books I have created.
Don't mind downloading my other books I bought.
WIth a broadband connection thats no problem.Mark

Luckily I also have Verbum installed.
Guess I will have to use it until a stable version 28.0 is available for Logos 10.

Correct

https://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers has this information.
"The default installation path is C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Logos (%localappdata%\Logos).
The path to your resources is ...\Logos\Data\randomId\ResourceManager\Resources.
Note: Your Logos folder name could be \Logos, \Logos4 or \Logos5, depending on when/how you upgraded."0 -
Thanks Graham. Your info is much h helpful.
I am thinking of just using the Verbum that I have. I am not Catholic, but this should still let me access all my books until a newer stable version of Logos can be downloaded
Thanks a bunch!
