What is the difference between the Essential Lexham Dictionary of Church History and the Lexham Bible Dictionary?
Did you look for them in logos.com? Give it a try. Here are the links.

I did but I want to know from others who have them. I have LBD by the way.

I think it's a good question. Especially, what does 'essential' mean. Few key entries, shorter articles, etc? And whose church history ... almost all European ('global')? I passed on the resource earlier ... the boilerplate was useless, the samples a bit better.
Then, there's the competition ... I forgot Eusebius is also a player!

One's a dictionary of the Bible and the other of church history.
Not making a lot of progress:
- It's two resources
- One's a Bible dictionary, ones church history
So far, so good.
Maybe no one has ever bought 'Essentials'
Okay, here's an example to the Essentials with the final bit of the entry on Abelard. The sources are solid making it a good place to go to find additional resources. The articles are written to be interesting to read and understandable for a reasonable high school graduate without oversimplifying. The entries are reasonably balanced among the Christian traditions and reasonably selected to be "the essentials" for the intended audience. Unfortunately, I am personally much more interested in the fringes and outliers, the odd cases so I don't use it much, but I would recommend it for the average Logos/Verbum user.
Thank you,!
I guess not for me; maybe they were/are planning another in-depth, similar to the depth in LBD. I can see it might be good for intro-folks.
Can someone tell me if the Essential Lexham Dictionary of Church History has an entry or entries for the following topics? Judaism, Jews, Constantine the Great, First Century Christianity or the polemics of Judaism in history.
As far as I can see it doesn’t have entries on any of these
