I really would like to see more recent finnish bible translations in Logos. There is two copyrighted alternatives and I would gladly buy them both into my Logos-library.
1) Raamattu Kansalle 2012 - https://www.bible.com/fi/versions/1745-finrk-raamattu-kansalle
2) Kirkkoraamattu 1992 - https://www.bible.com/fi/versions/330-fb92-kirkkoraamattu-1992
Thank you!
Yes, we definitely need more recent Finnish Bible translations. The KR1938 currently available is a very good translation, but the language is too old (from 1800s, youngsters have sometimes difficulties to understand it).
We should get those translations Jukka mentioned to Pre-Pub asap. I'm sure most Finnish Logos users would buy the KR1992 right away and almost as many the Raamattu Kansalle as well.
These translations would be highly appreciated. Currently Accordance Bible Software seems to have a slight edge over Logos in the finnish academia and one of the contributing reasons for this is that Accordance has Kirkkoraamattu 1992 available for purchase.
If Kirkkoraamattu 1992 and Raamattu Kansalle (2012) were available through Logos, then the balance would tip more in favor for Logos.

Hi all, have there been any developments regarding getting these two Finnish Bible translations onto Logos, please? I'm keenly looking to have them, esp. Raamattu Kansalle 2012.
Living in hope! Thank you!
I don't read Finnish, but Logos now has a recent NT https://www.logos.com/product/252109/biblica-avoin-elava-uutinen-uusi-testamentti-vapaasti-kerrottuna for free. According to open.bible this is the "Finnish Living News New Testament 1976"
Hope this helps a bit
Thank you, Mick! That is helpful; I had not realised this version was available, and have now just downloaded it into my Logos platform. It is akin to the Living NT so more loose in its translation. I am particularly hoping to see the Raamattu Kansalle 2012 version to become available (I use it as my default Finnish Bible for our Finnish congregation).
Blessings!
