My Greek & Hebrew Word Lookup Searches in WRONG Panel
HELLO! ::
I Recently installed a Better Lexicon for my “Lookups” of Greek & Hebrew Words {By NUMBER}: Previously, I was using Both:: ••“Brown, Driver, Briggs” _AND ••“Vines” — But Today I Switched Over To:: “Baker Dictionary of Biblical Words.” I ALWAYS Do These “Lookups” by Double-Clicking the “Strong’s Number” in the Interlinear.
I Have Not Been Able to Find the Location At Which I Had SET ••“B.D.B” & ••“Vines” – Since I Now Need To SWITCH Just One of Those Two ((“Vines”– Being the Weaker)) OVER To my New “Baker Word Dictionary” (Excellent!)
Could you Please Tell Me the Place (Or Preferably) PlaceS at Which—When I Double-Click the Greek Or Hebrew Strong’s NUMBER, Logos will AUTO-Zoom To That Number IN:: my Baker Word Dictionary.
THANK YOU ! !!
{{ P.S.:: I am using Logos Desktop Windows Version 8 [Eight] }}.

Welcome Chuck
{{ P.S.:: I am using Logos Desktop Windows Version 8 [Eight] }}.Any reason why you can't update for FREE using Install Logos (if you are not on Windows 8!!).

If this is https://www.logos.com/product/223451/the-baker-expository-dictionary-of-biblical-words then you cannot do this because it is not a lexicon, even though it has Strong's numbers for each English word
I Have Not Been Able to Find the Location At Which I Had SET ••“B.D.B” & ••“Vines” – Since I Now Need To SWITCH Just One of Those Two
These are in your Prioritization list which you access from Library. But it will not work for the above resource, which is an Encyclopedia.

Thank You, Dave::
Well, the setup of EVERY Word is Highly Similar as the TWO Other Books I mentioned–>>Having the H/G NUMBER at the TOP of EVERY Article!! — And, when I Do a MANUAL Search for the Strong’s Number, it instantly Zooms to the desired Article!! I Simply Need Now to do that Via the Native “Lookup” Function.

I don't know why on Logos.com, they're so reluctant to show how a book is indexed, and how tagged. I'm the refund-queen of Logosia, trying to guess.
And 'encyclopedia' needs Logosian 'foreknowledge', since the subjects listed imply a Bible greek dictionary (and an english-hebrew dictionary!).
I'm glad I didn't accidentally buy it: "Further LCV alignment will be added to this resource in the coming weeks." How's that for customer-oriented?
Sorry, Chuck for my side-comments ... it's understandable why you might be confused.

I'm afraid that does not equate to function - the same applies to works like "Holman Treasury of Key bible Words". They have to be Type Lexicon when you look in Details View of Library.
I Simply Need Now to do that Via the Native “Lookup” Function.
You can lookup an English word but NOT a Strong's number!

Thank You, DMB – That is Very Helpful.
But it will Continue to be my Primary Lookup—Even If it has to be Manual:: Everything I have looked up so far has been strikingly helpful.
Thanks Again0 -
Thanks Again Dave!!
Well, Hopefully Logos will add that function! — It has truly performed as a 5-Star Word-Tool for me; And the 2 Editors Are Longman & Strauss—Both of whom I really like. So I will just need to do the Lookups Manually on this Resource.0 -

'Encyclopedia' (as stated for this resource) is all I needed to know. But the Subjects for Hebrew and Greek are totally misleading. I will raise a data error thread for this.

Well, Hopefully Logos will add that function! —
It is not impossible as the Strong's numbers are listed against Greek and Hebrew words (similar to Vine's). I'll bring this up in the General forum.

Dave::
That Would Be GREAT!!
Thank You !!0 -
Chuck, if you are doing real Greek and or Hebrew word studies you need to get the BDAG & HALOT Lexicons. Also Strong's numbers are only the root word, the actual word meaning is based on context and grammar.
