[FEATURE REQUEST] Filtering PB's to Sentence, Paragraphs, etc.

The PB's lack a function which normal Logos books has. If you do a search you can't currently filter the hits to sentence, paragraphs etc. You have always to jump to the next hit, they aren't listet as the normal Logos works.

For every one who has PB would benefit.

Yes, but it is done automatically by import. See https://community.logos.com/forums/p/217543/1269455.aspx#1269455. At least sentence and paragraphs, but this alone would help much. And between headings as pericopes or articles. This is also automatically doable.

Your reference says it isn't done on the import ... but the reason for my remark was not doability but rather size of the project so that people voting didn't think it was a two hour patch reusing code.

If the tagging was already present in a PB, then a user could reasonably assume that all you were asking for was for the application code used for Logos resources simply needed to be applied to PB - a very short and simple task.

Because it is not already present you are asking that a new tagging function be added to the Personal Book - tagging sentences, paragraphs, articles - which would need to apply to many languages with different rules ... a very complex task that is unlikely to be able to simply reuse Logos resource production tools. Only then are you at a stage where " for the application code used for Logos resources simply needed to be applied to PB - a very short and simple task." applies.

In other words, you are asking for a major, labor intensive change. If it were the first you would have my vote. Because it is the second, it does not because getting footnotes to behave like other text and separate milestones for translation and commentary in Bible Commentaries are my top high-resource requirement suggestions. Other people use other criteria for selecting what they vote for and I didn't want to appear to be encouraging votes either direction - I simply wanted to add another piece of information into the decision.

I ask for the same automatic process as the Logos book import does for their books. You overcomplicate it. That means copy the code for this feature of the Logos own import and paste it to the PB import too. Job done.

Yeah ... 30+ years in IT taught me the complications even when KISS is firmly applied. A life-time interest in model-theory didn't help either.
